6:30-8:30pm Panel: Panelists include International Tennis Hall of Famers - Charlie Pasarell and Valerie Ziegenfuss, CEO/GM of Youth Tennis SD/Barnes Tennis Center - Ryan Redondo, and CEO of La Jolla MJ Management, Jack McGrory.

Charlie Pasarell: International Tennis Hall of Famer (inducted 2013), Charlie Pasarell ran and grew the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament (known as the BNP Paribas Open) for over 25 years and is Co-founder of the Association of Tennis Professionals (founded 1972) and National Junior Tennis & Learning (founded1969) for under-resourced youth. Charlie won over 50 career singles and doubles titles during his tennis career and was an NCAA Division I – Men’s Singles & Doubles champion while at UCLA.

Valerie Ziegenfuss: International Tennis Hall of Famer (inducted 2021) and Bronze Medal Olympic Champion (1968, Doubles), Valerie is a member of the “Original 9,” who ironically paved the way for female athletes in the sport. With her colleagues, Valerie rebelled against the US Tennis Association in 1970, and, signing a historic $1M contract, co-founded the Virginia Slims Circuit, the basis for the WTA Tour. She is the winner of 6 Women’s Professional Tennis Tournaments.

Ryan Redondo: Tournament Director of the San Diego Open WTA (Women’s) 500 Event and CEO/GM of Youth Tennis San Diego/Barnes Tennis Center, Ron’s passion is, “growing the love of the sport of tennis for kids and families.” Ryan is a two-time NCAA Division I All-American tennis player who reached a career high of #1 in the collegiate doubles rankings (SDSU). Former USTA National junior singles tennis champion and member of the US national team, Ryan was Director of Tennis and Head Men’s Tennis Coach at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.

William J. “Bill” Kellogg: President of the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club for 30+ years, Bill’s leading roles in the San Diego tennis community include running the SD District Tennis Association & the SD Junior Tennis Patrons Association. After serving as Co-Chair of the USTA’s Davis Cup & Fed Cup committee, Bill organized and chaired multiple Davis Cup & Fed Cup international tennis events in San Diego and was inducted into the San Diego Tennis Hall of Fame in 2008 for his community service.

Jack McGrory: CEO of La Jolla MJ Management Jack’s impactful career includes being President and CEO of Price Enterprises, Inc., COO of the San Diego Padres, and Director and Executive VP of PriceSmart, Inc. Jack was previously San Diego City Manager and is instrumental in orchestrating a wide range of philanthropic initiatives across San Diego, including City Heights Urban Village, Petco Park, SDSU-West, Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. Along with Bill Kellogg, co-chaired the 2014 San Diego Davis Cup.
