The Self Critical
Resource Center

Purpose
To assist those with self-critical tendencies (or managers/coaches assisting others) by enabling them to build awareness of tendencies and implications and then to use the awareness along with the ideas to put them on the path to a more effective set of behaviors mindsets.

A key focus in the first part is to get you to process the behaviors and mindsets you see in yourself and others see in you. It would be unusual for someone to possess all the mindsets and behaviors discussed, but not unheard of.

Whether you are here out of curiosity, because you've seen self-critical tendencies in yourself and/or you've been designated self-critical on the Harrison Assessment, we think you'll find this valuable but perhaps for different reasons. A key principle throughout is the importance of self-awareness and using the self-awareness to impact mindsets and behaviors. If you have your behavioral assessment results (and additionally if you have 360 feedback), now is a great time to review them.
