Periodically, we like to review works of affiliated experts to reinforce our knowledge and as input into our process and experience improvement efforts.

The 360 Feedback Debriefing Guide focuses on the what, how and why of giving effective feedback that affects behavior positively and optimally.

The 8 step process is laid out very effectively starting with the Why or purpose and continuing to the conclusion of the feedback sessions.

I especially appreciate the discussion on purpose and intent as we've found that the set-up and implementation are the key elements that determine the success of a 360 Feedback process.   Acknowledging and surfacing any resistance up front I have found is valuable. By doing this, you can address potential problems before they occur.

Also valuable is the discussion on the interpersonal factors of delivering feedback.

If you are engaging in a 360 program, I urge you to review the RTM Guide to 360 Feedback. To do this, click here.
